SynopsisThese animated sequences were created for the documentary feature film „The Devil’s Drivers“. Chased by the army, two Beduin cousins smuggle
undocumented workers through the Middle East. Filmed over the course of eight years, this documentary is a breathtaking portrait of human
trafficking in one of the most dangerous regions of the world. The animated parts tell the history of Palestine and the ongoing war, using real news
footage which was then rotoscoped and turned into stylized animation. „The Devil’s Drivers“ celebrated its world premiere at Toronto Film Festival in
2021.
